When the Red Wings announced their preliminary 2011 NHL prospects tournament roster, Brent Raedeke was no where to be found. The Detroit Red Wings have announced their 2011 training camp roster to be held at Centre I.C.E. arena in Traverse City, MI. The main camp roster features this summers free agent signings – Ty Conklin, Ian White and Mike Commodore. Additionally, all prospects from the Red Wings prospect tournament roster will be participating in the main camp (including the seven free agent try outs) as well as players slated to play in the Red Wings farm system.

The Detroit Red Wings have invited seven free agents to their annual prospects tournament in Traverse City beginning Sept. 10.

Among those auditioning for contracts are former Red Wings draft choices Nick Oslund and Bryan Rufenach, who are unlikely to be signed by the August 15th deadline for college prospects. Additional tryouts will be announced when the main training camp roster is finalized.

The New York Rangers have announced their 2011 roster for the NHL prospect tournament at Centre I.C.E. arena in Traverse City, MI. The team features the Rangers first round draft picks from the past two years – Dylan McIlrath (2010) and J.T. Miller (2011). Also included is defenseman Tim Erixon who was Calgary’s first round pick in 2009 but was aquired this offseason in a minor trade. A total of 110 players have seen at least 100 NHL games and just 12 players have played 500 or more games in the NHL. Below is the breakdown of those twelve players.
