A Note to LWL Readers

First of all I just wanted to thank all of you who have visited my little blog over the past few months. I hope you have enjoyed what I have written and I appreciate all the feedback! The biggest compliment you can give me is by spreading the word as I try and increase my readership.

Over the next few weeks, I will be offering exclusive training camp coverage from my hometown of Traverse City, MI while also visiting my family. Please feel free to leave me comments on stories or tweet me @lindy72 on Twitter. I look forward to making this coverage as interactive as possible but understand that I won’t be able to answer everything.

I do not get paid for my work and technically I fund my own trip each year to provide you with what I hope is the best coverage around! I have no agenda other than to get the stories as I see them. If there is something you want to see or read about just send me a comment and I will certainly consider each request.

Thank you again for your readership and encouragement!

Respectfully,

Sarah E. Lindenau

Editor-in-Chief, The Left Wing Lock

Love your site and the info you provide. I live out in Ottawa where Petr Mrazek plays junior. He was outstanding in the playoffs last year and this year the 67’s have centered a big part of their radio-based ticket sales campaigns around him and his big stops.

Maybe you could talk to him about being one of the 67’s “big stars” now and where he thinks he fits in with regards to the Red Wings goaltending prospects. Maybe Nill can give us his take on Mrazek.

I think he is the the least well known (and discussed) of the Wings’ top propects and one day, with some hard work and some luck, fans might talk about him as a late round draft steal like Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Homer, Ericsson & Helm.

I thought I sent this but not sure if you got it. As the season begins I would be interested in seeing a story about how the wings work wit the toledo walleye. How they decide what prospects get sent there, how the coaching staff mixes them with chicago prospects, etc. I hope to go see Toledo this year and here that they will have 5-6 wings prospects, including a goalie.

    You do a great job,
    Tom in bev hills, mich
